Profile

Milan Kunc

Během své pestré, úspěšné a dlouhé kariéry žil a působil v Německu, Itálii a dlouhodobě i v New Yorku a od roku 2004 žije a tvoří v Praze.

Koncem 70. let vytvořil malířský ost-pop - vlastní variantu pop artu - kombinující motivy východní Evropy a západního světa. Hlavně v Německu, Holandsku, USA (namátkou Gagosian Gallery) a samozřejmě i v Česku, včetně sbírky Národní Galerie v Praze.

About the work

Milan Kunc for 100pcs

"I painted this picture in New York during my second stage in the United States. In the nineties I had a studio in North of Soho - and there was a lot of paintings, including this. I was inspired by the cut live fences in Florida, where I often stayed. I call it Car Landscaping - Horticulture with the idea.
