Kristína Bukovčáková / The Last Semienko on Earth

Kristína Bukovčáková (*1991), a graduate of the studio of intermediate confrontation at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, exhibits in Jeseník its current works pointing to the fragility of nature. It reflects personal and generational anxiety about the environmental change and degradation of the landscape by humans, based on its own sensitivity and emotional experience. Through large -format paintings Bukovčáková continues to investigate the anatomy of plant cycles and microcosm of the garden, looking for suitable ways of coexistence of man and landscape.
