Marcela Putnová is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts, where she studied in the studio of Jiří Petrbok in 2017–2023, with the year 2019 spent in the studio of visiting artist Paulina Olowská. Marcela Putnová works with the theme of interpersonal relationships and human intervention in the environment. It examines the identity of the individual, solves individual relationships, the desire of subjects that are widely related to the subconscious. Above all, he works with girls who oscillate between two worlds, real and unreal. The main theme of Marcela Putnová is the ability of man to influence virtually everything in his surroundings, to decide on the quality of relationships and life. Putnová shows her characters absurdly, which, of course, requires a higher emphasis on a fantasy component, supported by a colorful color scheme that, in addition to the realistic form, sufficiently attracts the viewer. The narrative of Putn seems to resemble a fairy tale, in fact, it is firmly linked to the interest in psychology, philosophy, manifestations of the individual. An essential component of its painting is the concentration of a mixture of content meanings, their intertwining and grading.
