Petr Nikl returns to one of the fundamental motifs that intertwines virtually his work. Self -portrait scenes in childhood began to paint at the beginning of the 90s, the canvases depicting his mother in 2010. One and the other gradually opened the existential themes of proximity, reciprocity, as well as loss, loneliness and memories, in other words, memory and unstoppably flowing time. And these are also key content layers of this exhibition.
