Zbyněk Sedlec (*1976) is one of the key authors born in the 1970s. In addition to Josef Bolf, Daniel Pitín or Lubomír Typlet, Sedlec also manages to capture and develop the outlines of a strong generational feeling through their figural images. As a graduate of the painting studios of Jiří Načeradský and Jiří Sopek, he also builds on the wider basis of Czech painting, continuously develops and modifies them in new social conditions and in relation to his own memory, static photography, moving images and visuality accelerators.
