About the work

Alena Anderlová for 100 pcs

The painting Rhinoceroswas part of her solo exhibition at the Am Schwarzen See gallery in Bremen in 2022. An arid landscape with a dry riverbed creates an impressive scene here, in which the animal motif collides with an image of a world transformed by the climate crisis. The work thus opens up the theme of global warming and its increasingly palpable impacts on nature and the life around us.
