Lubomír Typlt (1975) patří dnes k předním autorům generace narozené v polovině 70. let (vedle J. Bolfa, D. Pitína, V. Holcové, J. Špaňhela nebo Z. Sedleckého). Ve svém malířském díle zpřítomňuje obrysy generačního pocitu, který nahlíží jako cyklicky se vracející epos, v němž se sčítají zkušenosti z období totality a z neméně problematického znovunabytí společenské svobody. Narativní postupy vkládá autor do radikálního přehodnocování malířských výrazových prostředků ve vztahu k figuraci. Postupně demontuje a rozmetává jednotný konstrukt času a prostoru, aby uvolnil svébytný prostor malby k jinak nastavené, hutnější a nekompromisní výpovědi založené na dynamické kompozici a rafinovaně barevné inverzitě. Svůj svébytný malířský výraz rozvíjí na základě přímé zkušenosti s tradicí české a německé figurativní malby (studia u J. Šalamouna, J. Načeradského. M. Lüpertze, A. R. Pencka).

Lubomír Typlt for 100pcs

“I first painted the Pinocchio motif back in 2004, though it wasn’t a very large series at the time. I didn’t return to it until 20 years later, which made me realize how connected I am to the motif and how much it means to me.

This time, I used it with a new color palette and shifted it toward a symbol of introspective studies of inner states. These Pinocchios are not explosive, grotesque figures, but rather a sensitive mirror of the adolescent psyche with its doubts and transformations.”

Prints in stock ship unframed within 2 business days and framed within 3 business days. Prints signed to order ship in about 2 weeks. Framed prints travel in protective packaging, unframed prints in a sturdy tube and an extra box. Shipping is calculated at checkout by country.
