Malinová často vyjadřuje bohatý vnitřní svět zobrazených lidských i nelidských bytostí.

About the work

Pavla Malinová for 100 pcs

The painting titled Digit comes from a series dedicated to the theme of time. Instead of a head, the figure has a clock face, and in place of clock hands, a human hand indicates the time. However, its movement takes place between symbols of infinity; time does not exist. There is only the present moment, everything at once. Every end signifies a beginning, and perhaps even the world order is not as linear as it might seem to us. It is an intimate, almost therapeutic painting, offering the possibility to turn one's (inner) clock at one's own pace, with the understanding that we will find knowledge somewhere other than on a clock face.
