Slovak painter Helen Tóth is one of the prominent figures in contemporary painting. She has her studio in the Nová Cvernovka cultural center in Bratislava, where she develops a distinctive visual language based on a deep interest in the inner life of nature. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava in the studios of Prof. Ivan Csudai and Prof. Daniel Fischer.

She regularly presents her work in solo and group exhibitions both at home and abroad, from Rome and Brussels to recent projects at the Danubiana Meulensteen Art Museum or the AT Home Gallery in Šamorín. She gained professional attention primarily as a selected laureate of the Zlín Salon of Young Artists 2024 (Triennial of Contemporary Art) at the Regional Gallery of Fine Arts in Zlín, which underscores her importance in a broader Czech-Slovak context. In addition, she is a three-time finalist of the VÚB Foundation's Painting of the Year competition in 2017, 2022, and 2023.

In 2022, her work was included on the longlist for the STRABAG Artaward International in Vienna, and in Turin, Italy, she received a nomination for the Piero D’Amore E Colore award for her innovative approach to color. Her oil paintings attract attention for their ability to capture the quiet monumentality and fragile balance of the forest.

Helen Tóth perceives landscape more through a philosophical lens than as a classical subject. Her works, which intentionally lack human figures, create a free space for silence and regeneration. Through her art, she opens up important questions about our relationship with the environment and nature's ability to persist in its original strength.
