Jana Babincová (1977) graduated from the Painting Atelier III. Doc. MgA. Petra Kvíčal at Jiří Valoch was the supervisor of Brno, the supervisor. In my work I deal with forms of geometric abstraction. Sometimes it could be said at first glance that it is based on constructivism, but I go back to the emotions that constructivists cut away. I mainly deal with the language and its aesthetic component and rhythm. This is my original plan, which I continue to develop because my other passion is music and dance. The compositions arise, for example, on the basis of movement, or analysis of the sound of music compositions.

This painting originated two years ago when I was on a trip in Děčín. There I walked through nature and watched a shrub with berries. The color and rhythm of the composition is based on photos from my experience and there is a encoded text - each color represents one letter there. The text is very personal. His name is "Make and Wish" or "Wish", "something" and it's about being able to formulate your wishes to fulfill it.
