Matěj Lipavský

Matěj Lipavský (nar. 1985), absolvoval v l. 2004-2010 AVU v Praze (ateliéry Jiřího Sopka a Jindřicha Zeithammla). 

Pro Matěje Lipavského je velkou výzvou prostřednictvím autentických situací a momentů podchytit uplývající čas, ať už ve městě, nebo ve volné přírodě. Zatímco čas v přírodě je zachycován se vší pozorností ve vztahu k cyklickým proměnám ročních období, klimatu a počasí, města si žijí svůj vlastní život „druhé přírody“, tj. civilizace. Přírodní rámce jsou pro autora autentickou laboratoří světla, barvy, teploty, vlhkosti apod.

About the work

Matěj Lipavský for 100pcs

I am interested in functional, or rather accurate poetry of everyday life. In the widest sense, one could say that I am not interested in tense, emergency situations. I'm just interested in the world we live in. This is a completely universal thing that sucks naturally.

It is such a transit image, a snapshot in the brutalist hall of the main station, which is great because of its red ceilings (I hope it will not cancel them…). The motive was the color that makes it a ghostly thing.

Prints in stock ship unframed within 2 business days and framed within 3 business days. Prints signed to order ship in about 2 weeks. Framed prints travel in protective packaging, unframed prints in a sturdy tube and an extra box. Shipping is calculated at checkout by country.
