The exhibition No Tree explores the fluid complementarity of two layers that brush against each other, confronting one another—the sphere of light, which is articulable, visible, and public—and the sphere of shadow, which is hidden, private, and trembling. The artistic whole thus resonates with a yearning liminal bond, the porosity of the interface between the conscious and the unconscious, the representable and the unknowable, the inner psyche and the external cosmos, between form and matter.
