About the work

Pavel Šmíd for 100 pcs

In Act on the BeachPavel Šmíd returns to what is typical for him - a strong, impasto painting style that gives the scene an almost physical presence. The figure bending forward feels immediate and authentic, like a captured moment from an ordinary day spent by the water. The warm tones of the sand and the cooler blues of the sea blend as naturally as the memories of summer moments that each of us knows.
