Pavel Šmíd, born in 1964, studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague under Prof. Jiří Sopko. He is a painter of human desires and dreams ingeniously tucked away in human consciousness, accustomed to perceiving and blending images with experienced emotions and ironic lashes.
