Tomáš Absolon is a well -known painter with a distinctive manuscript on the Czech art scene. Its often large -format colored canvases are mostly abstract, but there is always something to catch - they are inspired by poster aesthetics, simple symbols and signs, typography. They play with angles and scale - as if various miniature fragments around us have been enlarged so many times until the cut of reality loses the original context. Yet we can dive into it and imagine what was, or what could be around, where the shapes come from and where they lead us.
