Jakub Sýkora / Vertical Horizon

The essence of Jakub Sýkora's work has undergone a remarkable genesis in recent years, based on the principles of geometry, reinterpretation of characters and space modeling. The author does not understand the traditional line division as a simple quotation of lines, links and geometric shapes, which ultimately creates a composition and pictorial plan. It deletes the differences between the vertical and the horizontal. The current authorial language as a whole is essential for him. The process does not make the result in terms of content. He patiently examines and, above all, shifts and proves so far. The creation is in the author's understanding of an open process, platform and organism that is still alive.
