Kristína Mésároš / Origin / Počiatok

Danubiana Bratislava-Čunovo, Vodné dielo

At an extensive exhibition Origin/Počiatok The painter Kristína Mésároš presents his work through thematic and motivational series, in which she creates the environment, landscape and situation associated with experiencing everyday events. Personal experiences, fleeting moments, perceptions of landscape changes and ancient memories are linked to abstraction of feelings, moods and searching for a deeper meaning outside the superficial flow of time.

For example, a jump into the water, symbolizing a sudden change in the elements, is captured not only as an elegant physical movement in the painting, but also as a transformation experience - as a beginning. Elementary gestures, changes of the figure and its confrontation with the environment reveal the existential experience of the individual with universal validity. The climbing wall is not only a trainer of physical skill, but also a metaphorical challenge to overcome obstacles to the set goal. Likewise, a character trying to re -erect a sail on a ship, is an allegory of perseverance, and a determination to not give up in the face of adversity.

The motifs of navigation and navigation refer to life hope and orientation. Raster mosaics - exterior lining of the walls of the house - is the essence of the author's children's memories. It expresses the security, order and stability, the memory of the home as a constant place of returns in a variable world. Variations and fragmentation visualize the disintegration of a solid image and the gradual disappearance of memories over time. Even atmospheric, imaginative landscapes in her work carry a metaphorical dimension, associated with the formation of home and search for identity.

The paintings of Kristína Mésárošová capture the cyclic movement between moments of concentration, tension, power, inhale and subsequent relaxation, dreaming and meditation. They express their life efforts to fulfill the existence of meaning and joy.
