Slovak painter and artist Mgr. Art. Kristína Mésároš, Artd. (*1981) is an important representative of contemporary Slovak painting, who lives and creates in Scharndorf, Austria. She graduated from the University of Fine Arts in Bratislava, where she also completed his doctoral studies at the Department of Graphics and other media led by prof. Vojtecha Kolenčík. During her studies she gained a prestigious scholarship for Lasalle College of Arts in Singapore.
Kristína Mésároš regularly participates in important independent and group exhibitions at home and abroad. He currently has a large solo exhibition “Origin / Počiatok” in the prestigious Danubian Art Museum in Bratislava
In the past, the finalist of Strabag Artward International (2009) and the Maľba year competitions VÚB (2013, 2015). In 2023 she won the prestigious Martin Benka Prize. Her works were presented at residential stays and exhibitions across Europe and aroused admiration because of her imaginativeness and the ability to tell deep, symbolic stories through painting.
Kristína Mésároš is one of the key personalities of the contemporary Slovak art scene, whose work exceeds the boundaries of the regional context and addresses a wide audience with its originality and art depth.
