Petr Gruber and his painting work are embedded in the distinctive colorists of the current youngest Czech paintings. He builds his paintings on "residential" experiences from specific places and destinations, where he often returns repeatedly (mountains, forests, forest nooks). This ritualized form of relating to a particular place, the author leads to deepening the timeless dimension of image compositions, which only present the most important of the chosen shot. What stimulates the attention of an ordinary viewer.
