Václav Buchtelík (1990), completed the University of Ostrava in 2010-2015 (the studio of painting Prof. Daniel Balabán).
Václav Buchtelík is fascinated by the far side of human existence, where he finds the necessary tension for his painting. His themes are often ambiguous, full of immenseness, hints and links. His figural scenes represent an ambivalent atmosphere in society generating anxiety, claustrophobia or other forms of inner Tense.
