Introvert and melancholic painting and drawing speech Ondřej Maleček is close to the poetic natural lyric. The author admires poetry of K. H. Mácha and prose presenting landscape scenery, which are full of diverse life and fatal twists. Maleček works with peculiar attributes and symbols that represent fateful states and exaltations. A sense of romanticing narration is reminiscent of written legends or fairy tales. The world appears in its hiddenness as a constant movement between birth and death, similar to the image in grass II.

Ondřej Maleček for 100pcs

In my paintings I try to tell the story. Even one that has no storyline. I try to look for some symbols, characters, shortcuts that would help me in it. And these are paintings painted mostly by the watercolor method acrylic. I paint images in which there is melancholy, but I try to make them a little exaggeration and humor.

The paintings are oversized plants - flowers, inspired by large -format paintings, which I painted for the gallery in the searched.
