About the work

In the work of Cecylia, we follow the element of water - full, unrestrained, breaking down the hectoliters of the surrender water into the lowland landscape of Poland. A river full of islands and clumps, twists and secrets for which the only solution is to follow its flow.

Cecylia loves Polish rivers and like no one else can describe their character. This is largely based on its activist activity - from consultations with environmental experts to extensive protests and happenings. Meditative images that are inspired by the river flow - more or less influenced by man - are the tip of the iceberg. The lion's share is an attempt to understand what the river is, where it flows and where it leads, how its current and shape change, and why human activity has such a great influence on it. At the work of Cecylia, we see the element of water - full, unrestrained, breaking through the hectoliters of the surrender water into the lowland landscape of Poland. A river full of islands and clumps, twists and secrets for which the only solution is to follow its flow.
