A graduate of the Faculty of Arts UMCS in Lublin. An artist and a cartooner who also focuses on electronic music. In his work he captures observation and fleeting moments of everyday life. It creates drawing cycles and monumental wall implementation. His works are chronicle, inspired with the contemporary world of art, as well as flora and fauna. Although it avoids unnecessary details, it does not escape humor and irony. Mariusz Tarkawian drawings often arise during interviews whose essence quickly captures with a pencil. The works of this artist are represented in collections, among other things, in the CSW of Ujazdowský Castle in Warsaw, Bandana-Pinel Contemporain in Paris or in the Museum of Art in Daejon, Korea. He lives and works in Warsaw.

About the work
The painting was created on the occasion of the artist's 40th birthday as an experiment with the template technique. It resembles an ornamental portal, whose center is decorated with the motifs of Venus taken from famous European paintings. The artist often quotes other works of art and creates new stories. In this case, he created an image that refers to patterns and fractals from nature, allowing viewers to dive into this composition and wandering through its eyes after its complexity.
