Petr Malina (born 1976), graduated in 1994-2001 AVU in Prague (studios of Jiří David and Jiří Sopek). Work: Graffiti III, 2020, canvas oil, 150 × 200 cm
Petr Malina has long been involved in the reflection of life and lifestyle in the cities and cities of Europe, especially London, who often visits as a "cultural tourist". It is the "cultural tourism" associated with traveling for the art of the past and present is another big theme of raspberry. Its painting is characterized by color and shape reduction of themes. The image of graffiti III represents a paradoxical situation where outdoor street art becomes its own suspension image. Equally essential is the character of a young woman who graffiti captivated so much that she slowed her walking and examines a visual message on the wall.

Petr Malina for 100pcs
I consider myself a realistic painter. I like to display reality, although some funds are abstract in detail. I would like the result to always look realistic, but the means to be as simple as possible and try to find a balance and peace in between is always a challenge.
This image is from one of the last series I have worked on and which are inspired by graffiti. I have a small daughter and I walked with the stroller around one of the graffiti walls that impressed me. To make the image not just a quotation of a particular graffiti, there is a passing character that makes it a urban scenery.
